Meet Lubia, our sponsored child who is 8 years old. She is pictured below with her little brother (who is waiting to be sponsored). She lives in the village of Quetzali. Right now, the entire family, kids included, are working on a coffee farm. They will do that until school begins in late January.

FOCUS 2007 - 2008
Every girl will be responsible for signing herself up for a Kaper at each regular meeting and following through with her task. The goal is for each girl to take on the role of leader and ultimately run their own meetings. I am confident that each girl is capable but it will require full cooperation from everyone.
